Some ******* stole my OZ dust caps from the car this morning in the office car park. This isn't such a big deal, but it opens your eyes to people being out there looking over the car.

If you are the person who did this and you're reading this, you're scum to interfere with the property of others.

People are kuntz,

Simon.

I lose a dust cap at a rate of one a week, again from the office car park, still, could be worse they could let the tyre down.

Do what I've just done and fit these http://www.richbrook.co.uk/wheel_valves.html. Cost me £20 from A1 stores. Demon Tweeks do them as well, but there's a full list of dealers on their site.

They also do some secure ones. Goto their main page http://www.richbrook.co.uk, select Product Range -> Wheel Valve Caps. They look plain, but you could always glue some sticker onto them.

I bought some plastic dust caps and sprayed them gold, they still get pinched but they're cheap to replace!!!

We just found out that 3 got stolen from my boss' MX-5 in the same car park too, maybe they got disturbed and left the 4th. He had chrome ones. All employees with black plastic ones are intact.

it's a shame we can't find a way of connecting them to the national
grid or even the battery

buy one of those keyrings that you tighten them with. I did a litle dusty pinching (no scoobs, of course ;)) in my younger, less mature days and if they're tight, you leave. They dont have to be that tight either, the people nicking them are kids so aren't very strong :)
