Odd noise .....
 

I'm getting an odd, low groaning noise from the rear of my 03 WRX having done a fast run on the motorway / cross country run.
- Funnlily enough - it doesn't do it all the time, and is silent from cold.

My immediate thought was rear diff / wheel bearings - but it's only done it since I had a Whiteline rear arb fitted. The rear drop links (non Whiteline) sit very close to the wishbone / bottom link .....

Any ideas / experiences much appreciated .. :cry:

What tyres are you running? I have the same problem, got the car booked in and they checked it over. Turned out the RE070's i run with a prone to road noise...

Ahh - no this is more squealy / vibratory - and my Michelin Pilot Sport 2's are whisper quiet! :luxhello:

This noise appeared (out of the blue) 7 days ago .... :Suspiciou

the other thing that caused a weird noise on mine was when the pads got low!! brakes ok?
