hi guys...doen lots of searches and read lots..but be nice to be specific and see if u nice chaps can give me soem pointers

got a my99 uk turbo...
engine died from number 2 failure...
rebuilt and fitted...new maf fitted before used.

revs up fine, drives ok...except the bloody hesitancy...
changed lambda off my my98 car....(had to swop plug etc)
new plugs, new filters...
remove refit knock sensor...cleaned up surfaces..
checked valve timing...

not driven over 3k yet...as running in, but its hesitant
esp when cold...and mostly around 2500 rpm
light throttle and its not smooth as she raises throo the rpm..
i feel like a nodding dog.

goin on a colleagues monitor this week hopefully..and havin emissions checked etc.

any ideas guys...tryed bits n bobs..and dont want any more probs etc.

coolant temp sensor? proper oxy sensor (my 98 ran fine), lead down? done resistance test on leads...seem ok

its annoying me and i wana think about something else other than curing this on the car......

buggin me...

many thanks in advance.

this is what concerns me...

i think i will be not using her soon till i get sorted.

driving mega steady at pres. altho i need to drive her to get her on tom tuter, test her when bits changed...my 98 is now becoming donor vehicle...so now its in bits too....

if maf and oxy sensor changed what else is there
thought coolant temp sensor norm caused starting probs?

any other car would tell you whats wrong.
no e.m light on at all...in fact never seen one pop on on a scoob yet

losing the love guys..

cheers chris
