Ta. :thumb: First pics I've taken with a digital camera. Still trying to get the hang of hosting the images though. The options on photobucket got me confused (easily done!) and you can see what happened above!! OOPS!

Holy cr*p!

Following discovery of this thread http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...74#post6008674 I recognised the place as one of the garages I looked at before I bought mine. When I was there, I had this gut feeling that something wasn't right about the place. Some of the cars looked dodgy - like they had been crashed and cheaply repaired (panel gaps irregular/one new alloy and budget tire etc) so I walked away.

And this is the one of the cars I went to see:

I can't believe they still haven't sold it in nearly a year!! Looks like I had a lucky escape.

Chris,

She's the one that took the job off me as she offered to do it for peanuts!

And the thing which really p*ss*d me off is that they had loads of problems with this site when they put it online, and who did she phone? me! So she got the job and then phones me to help her out. Yeah right!

Justin that seems like a very good price but if the weather keeps this up i won't need to wash at all that saves me four hours on friday afternoon. Funny how the weather people are now saying next month will be hotter than this month, lets hope not.

Beefy 31 July 2006 06:05 PM

Just goes to show you get what you pay for. Cant believe that people in any business would be happy to have something unprofessional representing them on the internet. Its what alot of people look at first and makes the difference between someone making contact with you or not bothering.

You'd get my business every time mike. :)

I'm not exactly impressed with our website at work.

www.kobo.co.uk

It's not been updated for at least 3 years!! I've said to the boss it needs doing cos one of the (freaky looking) reps dosen't even work for us!!

It is a useful tool in many ways. The most common one is when the customer asks for a data sheet. Instead of faxing them through some shonky photocopy of the page, I talk them through the online catalogue instead - much clearer!!

God, I'm even boring myself!! Sorry people.:brickwall

Enough about the company I work for!

mykp 31 July 2006 08:29 PM

Thing is Paul I specialise in web sites which the customer can update themselves, with simple solutions and without learning how to program web pages.

Thus allowing clients to keep their websites upto date. Theres nothing worse than looking at a catalogue from 2004!

If the company need a competitive quote for a new site then I can provide :eek2:
