Which would you go for..

looking for a 5k ish diesel estate ~ 2001/2.
Is it really worth going for a VAG car with 100k on the clock over a french example with 1/2 that....:confused:

You probably wont find a french car with 50k still in working order.;)
IMO i would go for VAG. Fantastic diesel engines and very relliable and at least you know the rest of the car can handle the miles as well.

VAG! Got a 93K Passat Estate (130bhp Sport) back in November. Only done about 5K miles since but faultless. Pug 406 was also on my list but comparing them together the quality of the VW shines through!
