HONDA_RVF400 22 February 2006 09:17 AM

OMFG!!!! That Gotta hurt!!

Paulo P 22 February 2006 09:40 AM

Are you sure that's a wr1? It looks silver to me  It's difficult to make out the colour because you can see a sort of blue/green in it though

Gangsta Smurf 22 February 2006 09:45 AM

def a WR1 - you can see the driving lamps and grill set - and a bit of the sticker.

Well it was a WR1!!!!!! Hope the driver was ok!!

These cars frequently look silver in bad light and on lower MP cameras.

BOB.T 22 February 2006 09:49 AM

On the plus side there's a burnt out nova in the background!

T123VOR 22 February 2006 10:04 AM

Jesus, what a waste:eek:

Paulo P 22 February 2006 10:07 AM

I can see the colour a bit better on my other screen now. I didn't spot the mesh. What a waste :( I thought that was a 350z next to it but I've just noticed that it's a roof chop focus :eek2:

baz69birds 22 February 2006 02:32 PM

v8voodoo 22 February 2006 02:39 PM

Strewth. That hit something very hard very fast. Passenger airbag went off too, wonder what the passenger was thinking a second before the impact....?

shippy 22 February 2006 02:41 PM

Probably, "god this is great"

"That car shouldnt have pulled out on him/Should have applied the handbrake on this steep hill/Shouldnt have slept with that guy with the hammers' wife" The list is endless, but I also think your excuses 'could' be along the right lines. :)

Martin-STI 22 February 2006 05:23 PM

I think the tree/lamp post won! :brickwall
Are the wheels for sale I wonder.:wonder:
Should think the tyres might have flat spots though?:freak3:
60 to 0 in .0003 secs. God it was fast at stopping:eek2:

PHILYB 22 February 2006 05:55 PM

looking at the front bumper, i would say it hit a tree, there is still a bit there!!

it has had a big accident, but stood up well.

Phil.

Daniel-S 22 February 2006 06:24 PM

:eek2:

yoza 22 February 2006 07:19 PM

In my opinion that is a fairly low speed impact...with a large diameter tree.

I would guestimate less than 40MPH.

Nah..? Surely not...? :wonder: The V looks quite sharp to me, like it's a smaller diameter tree made of very hard wood or maybe a special concrete or iron tree..!

Would have thought if it was a large diameter tree it would be more err.. C or ( shaped if you get my idea..? :(

Still made a fair old dent in it whatever it was. What a waste of (IMO) a verrry nice car. At least it didn't end up like the Ferrari in the other thread...

bioforger 22 February 2006 07:57 PM

Noway that was 40mph or below, the pic below is what 40mph headon into another car does to a classic scoob. They are feckin strong, mostly due to the substantial bonnet, bumper and front member. And I know the newage scoobs are stiffer/stronger than a classic. The bumper on the one below was still complete, ok cracked n chipped to buggery but still whole! Notice both my airbags went off to, but no intrusion into the cabin :)

theotherphil 22 February 2006 08:10 PM

bioforger....a tree is harder than another car! Cars are designed to crumple - a tree will not. I see plenty of these accidents on a weekly basis.

bush360 22 February 2006 09:04 PM

I want to see the picture of the cockpit wondering if you can see the engine hmm.

I would also know what he was thinking a second after the impact ?

HONDA_RVF400 22 February 2006 09:10 PM

30K well spent id say!!!

Luke-Avfc 22 February 2006 09:21 PM

Looking at the damage it looks like his hit a post or it that part of a tree i can see.

-Spud- 22 February 2006 10:09 PM

Nasty :(

Swen6 22 February 2006 11:03 PM
