Apexi power fc comes with a base map but i would not advise driving on boost with the standard map. you may damage the engine.

Get a wideband Lambda, knock up some det-cans (to be sure the OE Knock sensor correlates with your ears), take 5 degree's out of the base map and work from there.....

The MAF scaling will need sorting though in your case. The OE MAF will work onthe default settings

The top mappers on here probably do something alot more radical and there are a few tricks that can be learnt. But the above should get you running fairly safe.

Thanks. I have a wide band. This is only to get the car running enough to get it to a tuner. im doing this all for a friend. Im smack bang in the middle of mapping my fd3s rx7.

Speak to Simon (Jolly Green Monster) on here mate. I wouldn't consider running the car on the base map provided; by all accounts its quite an agressive map for jap fuel, which will most likley damage your engine.

The 5 degree's off is exactly what I done before getting a safe map put on by Simon.

If you just need it to get it to a tuner then you can take 5 degree's out temporarily from the commander in the IGN/INJ menu. It will revert back to normal when you switch off the ignition, so you need to do it each time you start.

It only takes a few seconds to do though.....
