I'm with your mate on this one. A mate of mine bought a set for his fiesta turbo and within 500 miles, they cracked. They were replaced free of charge and the second set did exactly the same.
I wouldn't use them

I had these on my old MY97 and found them to be pretty good. I used preditor pads with them and found them to be very sharp. You will have to get your pads upto temp before they start working properly. Green stuff would have probably been better for road use which I guess you will be using yours for.

just fitted them to my car, and can say they are deffinatly better than standard, done around 1000miles on them including a night rally and there are no cracks in them yet :thumb:

A mate of mine ordered these for his car, but he got just the grooved ones. He used predator pads with his. He thinks they are fantastic and are much more sharper than the old standard stuff.
A lot of people say that the drilled ones tend to crack. Its because the drilling weakens the disc.

No probs with mine - as Gillp95 said - stay away from drilled versions though, i just bought grooved and they are light years better than standard (although this was probably due to them being fecked)

Got a good deal from www.motorsportworld.co.uk
