Scoobysport exhaust

Hi Could anyone tell me what the difference is, if there are any between the impreza MY01 exaust and MY99 exhaust from scoobysport.
I know the centre section for the 01 is in 2 sections and 99 is only one but will the back box fit.
Any help on this would be great.
Thanks

The MY99 or classic exhaust is in 3 pieces, downpipe, centre and back box.

The MY01 or newage exhaust is in 4 pieces, downpipe, cat replacement pipe, centre and backbox.

The lambda sensor is at the top of the downpipe on the classic, and in the catpipe on the newage, effectively near the bottom.

The hangers on the back box are in slightly different places between models.

I believe the centre sections are slightly different length between models, the classic being the longest.

I just fitted a full scoobysport (janspeed) exhaust to my MY01 yesterday and had a scoobysport (H&S) downpipe and backbox with magnex centre on the previous car, MY98 classic. I still have the centre and backbox but never measured them against the ones for the new car. I don't know whether some of the differences are because the manufacturer changed.

If you are wondering whether they are interchangeable then I don't think so, or not directly anyway. Check with scoobysport themselves. I think you should get the right one for your car though. Hope this helps.
