Lounge trouser help required please

Ok so the missis has bought me a pair of lounge trousers........The problem is I have never owned any one room clothes, will I burn in hell if I wear them into the kitchen?

serious problem this one

Throw them back at her, and keep with your tracky bottoms......they are far more versatile!

Gutmann pug 12 February 2006 02:14 PM

Tracky bottoms have given up the ghost mate ........

davyboy 12 February 2006 02:21 PM

ahhhh, man...sorry to hear that.

Must have been a bit traumatic for you. If you need a mate to talk to....then ask Jonah.

Gutmann pug 12 February 2006 02:27 PM

Buried then in the garden next to the dog ........ tear in my eye and everything.

This is the start of "the big conspiracy" by the missus to mould you into the man she wants to have around.

Accept it or fight

Do 'lounge trousers' have an elasticated waist? I noticed that my father was wearing beige elasticated-waist golf trousers the other day. Its a slippery slope!

Are they the same as pyjamas? When are you expected to wear them? Do you have to change when you come in from work, then change into pyjamas, or even back to your "slacks" if you need to pop out? :D

They were £9.99 from next ......... Bargain so she tells me..... They are basically jogging bottoms but a bit thinner. Can I get away with calling them summer jogging bottoms?

Hmmmmmmmmm come to think of it they might be the first item of clothing she has ever bought for me .....getting worried now.

EXSCOOBY 12 February 2006 04:42 PM

oh lord
ive been down this sordid slope
lounge trousers are just pants for fatties
i have just been blessed with a little baby and as such my time boxing and weight training has been limited
i love the things !!!!!!!!!!

J4CKO 12 February 2006 06:16 PM

Lounge pants, tracky bottoms, pah, thats the wrong name, up here they are known as 'Smeg Pants' due to the propensity for wearing them without undies !

My brother is really slim and he swears by them, its wearing them out of the house that is for proper fatties.

Gutmann pug 12 February 2006 06:42 PM

They are indoor trousers :D ...not allowed to wear them out, its against the law apparently.
