Spam on Gmail

Well, after over a year of hassle free email, the spam has started to arrive on gmail  . only getting one a day but after not receiving any unlike the hellhole that is hotmail I'm not too happy.

anyone else getting spam? I've been using the "report spam" feature but will ir make any difference?

yeah i'm starting to get a bit. To Be fair most of it is placed into junk mail but a couple a week make it through. Still......its better than hotmail junk email:)

You will get it anywhere. I've found Gmail's spam filters to be pretty good.

Heh :D

I've set up 2 Gmail accounts to deal with Spam to my main domain. I used to get 20-40 spam a day, mainly Russian ( ) to two non-existant users. Included in that was a variety of virus's

I had my ISP set up a re-direct so that any emails addressed to those users would be diverted at the ISP to the Gmail accounts.

With 2gb of space, a good spam filter and the fact that any unopened mail over 30 days gets deleted - problem solved :D
