induction kit
 
hi- im new to this- can anyone advise me- will an induction kit made for an impreza wrx 2001 bug eye model fit onto an sti 2002 bug eye model- my sti has the pro drive fitted so wondering if it would make any difference to the induction kit

This is talked about all the time. I have no idea if the WRX kit will fit the STi.......All I will say is that 'in my experience' the fitting of an induction kit affected my cars performance in a bad way and that was proven.

Use the search facility....as above tends to lower the power as it draws in hot air from the engine bay

A better solution is to use a high flowing panel filter such as JR Racing, Green or K&N and remove the resonator and ram-air scoop, then seal up the holes in the wing and effect a seal around the intake of the airbox. Hey-presto, your engine gets plentiful cool clean air from the O/S wing enclosure and you get the added benefit of slightly earlier spool-up, audible induction and audible dump valve without spending loads of cash.

Do a search on here for "resonator" for a full guide. In brief, it's 4 bolts, one wheel off and 5-6 plastic clips to loosen the wing liner.
