I don't tend to speed really, really bad week, watching the road rather than my speedo.

As I say, no excuses, I did a bad thing.

I'm sure we have all done it in the past mate, just been lucky not to have been caught......wrong place at the wrong time for you. :(

Hopefully you're right, I'm usually a very attentive driver.

Just told the insurance company and they got their fee for my mis-hap, £10 for both cars. Not bad really, and not worth the risk not telling them about it.

A collegue told his insurance company, 2 years later sign his renewal (had been with them 7 yrs) without checking it 100%.

Got hit up the arse (not his fault) and they didn't pay out!!!! if they can get out of paying for a claim, they will. Annoyingly for him, it was their error not his (apart from the fact he should have checked the form properly).
