Death Wish live

What a fruitcake :cuckoo:

Seen this bloke before and his success rate with his tricks is appalling :D

His escaping from being hung could be interesting :o

To quote the Mrs he is no David Copperfield :lol1:

Failed and how:D, lets see him get crushed, later on this week, under 5 tonnes of concrete:cuckoo:

Didn't they try the burial thing on Mythbusters and aborted it after the coffin started to collapse.

Yes they did. Its been tried a few times and the result is usually the same, the person stupid enough to try it dies or at least ends up hospitalized.

Sky 1 did a prog on magic tricks and this was 1 of them, except that the guy was actually buried in a field so no collapsing sides if it went wrong, which it did, the coffin imploded. It really was a race against time to pull him out alive, and they were using JCB's to dig him out!!

Its on again now.... E4.... :)

I think it's deliberate; it's almost like a spin on the Jackass/sanchez "professional idiot" genre. I'd say that he's distinguishing himself from regular escapologists by catering for that part of everyone's psyche that "just wonders what would happen if it went wrong" without actually wishing any harm on the poor chap.

The buried alive one will be interesting- a very dangerous stunt that has claimed the lives of people that have attempted it. It'll be hard for him to bodge this one and escape unscathed.

Oh its definately deliberate, the only thing thats unknown is how injured he will get each time lol One I saw him do before was being swung round on a crane trying to escape before hitting various objects and he ended up breaking his leg :lol1:

1) It's not live - it's pre-recorded. The audience was in there last week :)

2) There's no HUGE risk to human life. It's a stunt. Meant to deceive.

Of course he isn't going to die but if you saw other stunts he has done you would know he has a history of injuring himself with the scars to show for it.
