Knock link sensor question?

Do you remove and replace the OE sensor with the Knock one supplied or do you blt the new one on top?

Thanks

leave the existing one where it is as ecu still needs this, bolt the new one on seperately (normally near the RH intercooler bracket)

OK cheers Mark.

Is their a specific place on the block for it?

there is a bolt hole above the starter motor on top of the engine that is ideal. It takes iirc a M8 bolt (may be an M6) Probably needs to be about an inch and a half in length. You should be able to get access without removing the intercooler using a long extension bar and suitable bit. (may be a bit fiddly connecting the sensor connector though)
