If you're mechanically inclinded and you've baught a well made system that was designed for the car, it should be a case of bolting the old system off and the new one on. I tried this with my car but unfortunately the new system I bought did not fit 100% and needed recutting and welding, thus I ended up having it fixed by a workshop. Next time I'll let the shop do it first time around.

simple answer, disconnect the wire for the actual speedo, my uk 2000 import was restricted to 120mph, wouldn't rev up after 5500 rpm in 5th gear, now disconnected the speedo electric wire and it rev lines at 8000 and 150mph plus easily, have to use sat nav as speedo
