HELP!!!! Tax return.....

Was going to do it online, but cant find my user name and they wont tell you it over the phone, they post it if youve forgotten!!

If I dont get it in by the 31st will I automatically get the 100quid fine, or is that ONLY if theres unpaid tax???

Ive had a regular job for the 2004-5 period, so I all tax is paid - there will only be a rebait for me.

Anyone know?!!!

you get the fine refunded if you don't owe them anything....don't get stressed about it.

Or print the return out & post it.

Thanks, panic attack over then!!

I'll either post it in or get my username sent in the post and do it later in the week :)

One other question, theres a section asking about interest on money in bank accounts - all my accounts have interest deducted automatically (at 22% rate) and Im assuming that as Im a 22% tax rate payer that I dont need to bother filling anything in for these sections?

I would do your return on paper and then lodge it at any tax office, just to make sure. There's bound to be one near you.

Don't believe that "PAYE" means your tax is correct either

Errr no, include it even though you've no liability on it.

after I did my tax return last time round I was told I owed an additional £35-ish.

Being lazy I ignored all the letters about paying, final reminders, pay-up or we will chop off your boll*cks if you dont pay right now, until I get a letter saying that they had decided not to persue me for the outstanding sum!
