'Broons tours' could be tempting, might have something on the Sat nite, if not I could be up for it. Will know nearer the time.

See you on Sat if you are going to AWD.

Dave,
What is the basic route?
My wife is due to pop a sprog next week so don't want to go too far from home!!!
I'll manage to come along as long as we are not too far from Dundee/Blairgowrie.

Cheers for the offer, but unfortunately I'm gonna have to miss out http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
Had a minor "off" last week, and am still waiting on new wheels coming to replace two buckled ones.

Will REALLY try to make the next thing http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif

Well, what a fantastic day! Thanks so much Dave for organising it. You guys can certainly handle your cars, and it was good to see such performance being extracted in safety. My confidence improved hugely just seeing what the beast can really do, and I am even more amazed to see how unbelievably quick an MR2 can be in the wet in the right hands.

Also pleased to say that RE010s are down to 3mm after today - roll on those new ones with fabulous justification to the wife. Even this would have made it all worthwhile!

Doogsy 07 October 2001 08:29 PM

Great fun run
Broon's Tours gets you there before you know it http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Great Run http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Thanks to those who came along and nice to meet you's John & Neil.

Pity about the rain & HUGE puddles along the route http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif but we made the best of the dry bits http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/tongue.gif Really enjoyed the 'stage' from Pitlochry over the hill, my arms were aching from all the gearchanges & chucking it round the endless twisties :d

You'll do well to shake Roadster off yer tail on a backroad, he's more than a match for Scoobies http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Pics are going up now on Crailthrashers Yahoo chatgroup
