TrackAction poss gone bust help needed

My missus bought me a voucher for a trackday with TrackAction and I had it booked for Brands last October. The two nights before I was phoned by the company owner and told that the day had been cancelled due to "issues" and that the next day Donnigton was available. I said that that wa not an option due to the distance involved and would look to another day. No problemo.

I now cannot contact them, their website hasn't been updated. basically alls gone dead.

Does anyone know what has happened to them.......

I understand that Palmers have a problem due to the Brands incident that they pulled out at the last minute and did not pay.

Help :(

What Brands incident?

Good luck with any refund or contact by the way.

If you know the names of the owners or directors of the company, you could try and locate them through the internet or at companies house. Or even www.192.com

I do not know anything about this

But MSV Owners of Brands Hatch usually insist in full payment LONG before 2 days before the event.

Have you tried speaking to MSV

sorry to butt in roo, but have i read this right that palmers (as in palmer sport?) are in the ****? or is it that trackaction let them down?

Palmers as you refer to them are now MotorsportVison owners of Bedford, Brands, Snettereton and Cadwell

I think roo is implying that Track Action are in trouble

I understand now that they pulled out 4 days before and that they still haven't paid. Just gonna get hold of the body that regulates trackday organisers to see what the craik is.

If they have gone bust then probably get the money back as paid by credit card but still bloody disappointed as I have just put some new rubber on too ;)

Passionford got shafted on the same day, not sure if they got their money back, but it may be worth you popping over there and reading up....

Both Simon & Louise Taylor of TrackAction were recently escorted off the premises at Oulton Park.

I would be calling the credit card company if I were you- and I can't say more than that.......

Luckily I managed to get my refund at the end of October for a day that they kept 'cancelling'

Shame to see them go bust as I always enjoyed their days.

Used to love Oulton though I was about 10 watching the Hon Pat Lindsay racing Stirling :) fantastic fun.

Without them actually declaring themselves bankrupt how do credit cards refund the money.

Shame cos he seem a nice guy so I don't feel completely roobed cos I'm hoping it was a genuine reason he folded

Still want me cash or the missus wants her cash back.

Roo
