Right then gets up for work this morning and some little fooker has decided to rip my spolier off the car ... police typical dont give a fook ... so ill deal with my self no doubt...

But anyway as im new to scoobys and now i require a rear spolier can anyway be so kind to tell which one it is and where i can get one in black if poss... Cheers

Its a f***ing nightmare isnt it,

It looks like an STI6 spoiler m8, theres plenty knocking about new for sale, think you'll be lucky to get a black although some companies will paint them for you. Good Luck!

I wouldnt bother with another high spoiler again ( after mine was ripped off)
- just not worth it.!

Sorry to hear about thses things happening. Would you all mind letting us know where these incidents are taking place. I leave my car on the drive all the time.

IMO its not an STI6. The wing sides go up a little further than the higher level. A 6 wing flicks up at the rear end and a 5 wing is flat across the top from one side to the next. Plus the brake light isn't protruding from the lower level. Looks like the lower level is straight and the brake light is underneath it.

A 6 or 5 would make a good replacement but I don't think it is a 6 wing.

Another vote for DRMotorsport, David should be able to supply you your choice of rear spoiler. Whether its a version 5 or 6.
It can be painted or unpainted your choice.

I would double check your alignment of your boot lid, mine was damamged & twisted when the scum bags had a go at ripping my spoiler off. I ended up replacing it with a copy version.

A decent auto security light with chime (diy shops) helps too if its parked on the drive.
Maplins do a small cctv camera about £60/£75. (auto tv channel change & warning chime) both can be turn off/on via remote.

It's a result of driving an 'In Yer Face' car I suppose ...... I shouldn't be like this, but it is sadly.

One of the reasons I have a Wagon is to avoid a lot of attention, one of the reasons I keep it standard is to avoid attention too ...... there's a LOT to be said for being a boring old fart!! ;) :D

cheers ppl and ill got a a clifford 300 concept on but never went off supose it could have been worse than just the spoiler bein damaged the only thing that worries me if yeah i get it fixed whats gonna stop the twats doin it again.....

There *may* be ways of wiring up the spoiler also on the alarm ........

You probably don't want to hear the obvious but.........

There is very little bar putting the car in the garage if you have one, that will stop this kind of thing happening.

I liked the cctv idea, alot actually but you can't keep your eyes on the car all the time.

Your lucky they didn't do worse like another post where his tyes were slashed, or rear window smashed.

If I were in your position and this were a regular occurance I would consider selling the scoob and getting something less attractive. Sorry!!:(

I int gonna sell the car i always wanted cause off some pricks..... im in the process of movin house ne way to one with a garage it just pi55es me off thats all..... oh well well i got a new spoiler and sprayed and fitted for £160 which not bad...... but not getin it fitted till i move incase the fookers try it again.... im sure the spoiler i had was a version 5??? thanks thou ppl for ya help ya advice and yeah mate i am lucky i could have been worse or expensive but its still hassle lol they will get what they deserve and if they touch my missus FTO in the mean time they will be in hospital simple lol

Someone i no had his tampered with so he actually glued it down and put more bolts in:thumb: Get a clifford sensor put on the boot lid;)

THEY JUST SMASHED IT (I THINK I WOULDNT HAVE BEEN SO PISSED OFF IF THEY WANTED TO KNICK IT LOL )BUT I WILL GET THE CLIFFORD SENSOR NOW CAUSE IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN IT GIVES ME A CHANCE OFF CATCHING THE FOOKERS FOR A SMACKIN

So why do the Police not care?
Does that mean that the State, for the Police are the State appointed law enforcers, now regard criminal damage as perfectly acceptable behaviour?
If that is so, why is the law not changed to reflect this?

I phoned them first thing they took details off my address phone number etc asked what happened..then gave me a crime ref number i said they rubbed they window at some time cause they was a martk cause it froze over night her reply was buy the time someone come out it would be defrosted so no prints lol when i argued with her see argued back i gave in the twats but if it was me been done for speedin or noe whering a seat belt they would be on my case the twats

well got a ver 5 spoiler and gettin it sprayed and fitted saturday £160 all in not bad still gutted i got to fork it out myself for some idiots thinkin there cool but all sorted...
