I wonder how many people will get halls 1,2 and 5 mixed up just by looking at the cars? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif

Anyone know what the security situations like in the car parks at the NEC?

Stuart H 09 October 2000 08:24 PM

Lee,

I wouldn't bring your Scoob if I were you. There are 30000+ parking spaces (most of which will be used) at the NEC, summat tells me they can't keep an eye on all of that.

There are plenty of trains/buses that serve the NEC, have a look at the

harj 09 October 2000 10:16 PM

To the lads going! be very careful with your own cars as last year there were loads of cars stolen inside and outside the carparks. Loads of little theives following people home!

Hunk 09 October 2000 10:43 PM

Hi, thanks for the info. Is everybody welcome on preview day (19) or is it just for a selected audience? I must fly in from Holland and i would hate to stand there and not get in.. (maybe steal a nice Scoob then ;-) Btw, how long does the train take from London?

chrisp 09 October 2000 10:50 PM

Preview day is like any other public day day except that its the first one and costs a lot more http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif. I am going preview day by train and order the tickets off the website http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif.

The NEC has its own train station and takes about 20 seconds to walk from the station to the motorshow halls. If you go by car you have to pay parking, queue to get on and off the car parks and have to put up with M6 traffic. Far better by train and you can have a beer as well http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif.
