Bad night out
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/4634378.stm
This happened local to where I live, don't think I'll be drinking there. Rumour has it that the father who died, had his throat cut. There seems to be a lot more viscious crimes happening lately. |
the violence thing is already all to common in most places
its the viciousness that has increased  |
Mark my words in our lifetime* one of two things will have to happen a) the government will finally do something about violent crime and there will be swift and harsh punishment OR b) ordinary man and women won't go anywhere without being totally tooled up. According to to bible b) is more likely :D
* With the possible exception of Pslewis :D P.S. Nothing makes me more angry than this sort of stuff. How must the wife/mother feel right now - shocking that people are allowed to destroy families and lives in this way. If they get caught they'll probably get 200 hours picking up litter yet if they had done 140mph down the M1 it would be 6 months in the slammer. Go figure!?! |
Indeed; hes a 20 stone gorilla dont you know?
|
People in my area walking home at night getting a kicking is a regular occurance, some threatened with knives - especially in the underpasses.
Norrow-minded Solution: Blame and propose to fill in the undrerpasses. Strange, stuff like this never happened 30years ago when they were built  This is not the Symptom, cause or effect. Lack of real enforcement, lack of police presence, too much tolerance to low lives, and lack of real punishment. Therefore lack of deterrent. Can't be that hard to see the obvious? |

Can't be that hard to see the obvious? Some real punishment is needed, rehabilitation is for junkies not murderers. |
