Just to let you know I now have a booking form for the Knockhill event on the 17th March. We have the track booked from 1pm to 5pm, and the cost will be £50 per car. We'll be running an open pit format as usual, which gives as much track time as you wish within the 4 hours available.

Places are limited, and a booking form has been sent to those who replied to earlier messages. If you are interested in taking part, then please drop me an e-mail using

So who's going then ?

As this will be my first track day, I'm after some kind sole(s) to show me the ropes.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be interested in that beginners/big girls blouse session as well.

Cheers...

Darren.

Guys,

I've sent out more than 30 booking forms so far!

Quite a few have asked for the beginners session, so this will go ahead. There will be at least one Knockhill instructor there available to give tuition (free of charge), plus lots of other members who are more than happy to sit alongside to show you the layout of the track, and some of the basic lines.

RichS 31 January 2001 12:58 AM

Might want to spectate if that's okay John?

I'll be going with my Terzo but I don't think I will be going on the track. If I was to - can I wrap my car up in cotton wool? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

JohnS 02 February 2001 10:42 AM

Andy,

your cheque arrived this morning http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Spectating and passenger laps are free as always (bring your own helmet though if you have one).

JohnS 12 February 2001 11:02 AM

Beginners session will definitely take place just after the warm-up laps, as we have enough confirmed interest.

There are only 5 places left though, due to a flurry of booking forms coming in over the weekend, so please get your booking forms in this week if you don't want to go on the reserve list.

WUZ 12 February 2001 09:55 PM

After such a good day's driving on Sunday, (hope you weren't too late for your party John) how can I resist. I will send you an e-mail John.

Guys,
I have arranged for the lads from "Wheels Around" to bring their support truck to the track day on the 17th. This is because I will need new tyres to get me home after the event!

If you need slicks or part worn tyres for the track or even some new tyres to get you home safe and legal then give Ronnie a call on 01764 662897.

No connections blah blah................

I got a great deal on 4 new P Zeros!!!

See you all soon
