i was listening to he radio earlier and they claim an icey blast from russia, where its currently -30'C, is on the way.

Theoretically, You cant ever reach the absolute zero of temperature, ie -273. to do so would imply the absence of energy, ie temperature being a indirect measure of heat (which is a form of energy)
In theory you cant have state of no energy, and so, therefore, the absolute zero in temperature cant be reached. thats my two pence worth. |
What about the difference btwn potential and kinetic energy? Surely you'd lose kinetic but have potential?

No no Poor Guy,
PSL has already started a thread about the Summery/Spring time weather that we are having and shouting the weather forecasters down for saying we might have a hard winter. We musn't say opposite to him or he will start his nasty insults all over again! He might even accuse you of trolling-and he is an expert at detecting that sort of thing, same as being a weather expert of course! Les :) |
