I've booked a rolling road session in Glenrothes for Sunday 20th August. We need a minimum of 6 cars, and the cost will be £30 each.
This is the first 4WD rolling road in Scotland apparently. I already have a few names, anyone else car to join us ? |
John,
Do you have any directions for how to get to the place coming from the north side of Glenrothes? Regrards, Chris |

Your right - the 4wd was at thier old site. I just said that that Star's was not the first http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif trouble causing as usual. And yes, ava did have one 10 years ago...lol
I'm helping to build the new one in exchange for favours for my cossie. Its going to be the absolute buisness as I know what services are planned and its going to be of very high standards. They also have very high knowlege of turbo cars as they have been in the buisness for ages and specialise in turbo conversions such as twin turbo beemers etc... I'll help arrange one at AVA once its completed if you want. Cheers Martin |
Its the second as AVA in Glasgow had the first 4wd rolling road in Scotland over 10 years ago. They are in the process of building a new one at the moment.
AVAs will take more power as well as it is made from the larger rollers that almost all in the country do not use. Should be good to get some figures for the skylines at last. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Cheers Martin |
Martin,
someone I spoke who who had been to AVA several times insisted that they only had a 2WD dyno, but were in the process of building a new bigger and better one which was 4WD. Anyways, we can go to AVA the next time http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif |
