Last year when driving from Rosslare to Tipperary i couldnt find any stations stocking SUL97 on the way, could any of you lovely Irish folk direct me in the right direction,i'm off next tuesday.
Cheers Darren.................Silver STI |
Sorry Darren but 97ron is not generally available in the Republic.I personally only known of one garage but its on the road to Dublin from the North.Northern Ireland is ok though so it looks like a supply of octane booster for your trip!!Something like NITROUS FORMULA should do the trick.Enjoy the Emerald Isle!!!

Some stations on the Republic Stock it. i went from Cork to Kerry and back up though Tipperary and had no problems. It's a good idea to get some millers for the trip though as the further south you go the harder it is to get. Texaco is your best bet with Esso a close second. Statoil don't stock it ad neither do Shell.
Have a great trip. Paul. |
Limerick has 2 garages that sell it, Killarney in Kerry have a Shell station that are selling it @ 78p a litre, which is not bat as it is 72.3 for 95 ron unleaded in West Clare.
|
I was amazed at the price differences. We pay 91p per litre here and I only paid 82p in Kerry!! It seems to be the place to buy.

Thanks for the info chaps, looks like i'm gonna have to double up on the millers http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Cheers Darren |
that price is in punts too!! 82p in punts works out at 65p per litre in stirling! people are paying 79-85p per litre sterling in england for sul! robbery.
