Basically the OE setup is the engine breathers being routed back to the turbo inlet. Which means the car can take in oil vapour as well as air, which isn't ideal for max BHP. So I have vented my breathers to atmosphere which is fine, but I am due to go hillclimbing this year and VTA breathers are not allowed. So they have to go via an oil catch can, which 'catches' the oil vapour whilst the gasses still VTA.

In a nutshell the OE system robs potential power, my current setup has the potential to dump oil on the track, the catch can is the answer :)

Sweet dreams :)

I am interested in doing this. I know there was a long Post by Andy.F which is great information.
