Horrified by the car LOL, but glad they got a good end to the story.

Brendan Hughes 15 January 2006 02:57 PM

I'd imagine the bloke who stole it woke up the next morning with a massive hangover, looked out of the window and thought "Oh God what have I done?" :lol1:

Thread called 'Chameleon has been stolen' the irony of it

Chameleon my arse, By definition Chameleons blend in with their surroundings, that thing would struggle to blend in anywhere except in a huge vat of vomit;). Each to thier own i suppose

Glad he go his car back mind!

 There could be an amazing Photoshop opportunity going begging there...

ALi-B 15 January 2006 03:34 PM

Proof that some theives are stupid. Stealing a car that sticks out like a sore thumb...no wonder they found it :D:D

Right, I'm off for a quote to get my Scoob painted glitter-fleck Pink. And get the alloys redone in bright green :)

STi wanna Subaru 15 January 2006 03:35 PM

You could spot that thing from space! :D no shock it was found

Greatnorth 15 January 2006 03:47 PM

what are the odds of that happening again?

good find though he'll be well relieved

C_B_B 15 January 2006 03:57 PM

I can't believe someone would really steal that.

ADP 15 January 2006 08:20 PM

shame they didnt torch it

PG 15 January 2006 08:35 PM

I bet the guy was gutted !
He goes away and some scum nick his car
He has had it for years and has spent a fortune modifying it and to top things off...

He ends up getting the hideous looking thing back !!
Gutted !

PG 15 January 2006 08:36 PM

Good to see the way things worked though.

Billgtt 16 January 2006 02:16 PM

And to think, someone was only trying to do the poor owner a favour :(

Not really my sort of car. Glad to hear he got his "pride and joy" back though, and well done to those involved.

John McAndrew 16 January 2006 05:43 PM

the car was built many years ago and is now coming to the end of its days...it had a big intall in it which he was more worried about as he is braking the car very soon

wwp8 16 January 2006 05:59 PM

erm the police got the car back yes??

but don't they need to investigate who nicked it ?? so summat?

M444GY 16 January 2006 06:24 PM

lol . bloody lucky that someone spotted it !!:D how could u not though!

Jonathan Davies 16 January 2006 06:30 PM

I don't like to be pedantic but unfortunately I can't help it: chameleons don't change colour to blend with the background, they change colour to reflect their mood.

That one's presumably a bit pre-menstrual.

ScoobyDriverWannabe 16 January 2006 09:12 PM

i remember one where a mitsubishi eclipse was stolen and various forums spotted sightings of it.

Does any know how that ended.
