WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR OVER BOOSTIN AND YOUR FUEL CUT OFF KICKS IN
 
Could anybody tell me what the symtoms are when your car is over boostin coursin the fuel cut off to kick in:confused: :confused:

Whoosh, followed by.....why does it feel like I've hit a brick wall!?!?! :wonder: It's not subtle apparently! ;)

Totally agree there mate cos since switching to tesco 99 ive been hitting that brick wall alot and now im having my gearbox re-built - coincindence maybe but not sure (MY94 WRX STI) :cry:

Unlikely that you'd be able to overboost sufficiently to kill a gearbox if the fuel cut was working properly mate. Wouldn't help one that was on the way out though I guess. It is an 11 year old high performance car, most likely wear and tear- the people rebuilding it should be able to tell you for sure.

Hope it doesn't cost you too much!
