Anyone?

I'm having the same problem finding that out for my 96 Sti version 3 mate. This lambda should fit yours though, and I have seen those sensors recomended on here.

Its a matter of how long it lasts though.

Has anyone ever bought a lambda off these

sti007 are you going for one of these?

I've bought cheaper than that :D

I bought a universal 3 wire sensor from ... (can't remember, somewhere online) recently (I'll have a look in a min) Just had to wire the original plug onto it.

Was reccomended by Andy F, he said he had no probs for a couple of years iirc (so blame I'm gonna blame him if it lasts 5 mins :D )

Ok, found the info..

Andy had used a Halfords one on his old RA for 2 years with no probs (from a post on 22b forum when I was trying to source one)

I ended up getting the 3 wire one fro here http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/lambda_sensors.php

Seems to be working ok (but then don't know how long it'll work.

How long have u had it on and what model have you got.

For that price its gotta be worth a go.

It's only been on for a month, so not much help.

To be honest even if it doesn't last more than a year it'll be no great loss, but you never know it may well last for a while. As I said I've heard good things about Halfords universal ones so I can't see it'll be any different.

My car is an STI Type R, but it has the lambda in the top of the downpipe (like yours??)

Just check how many wires yours is (pretty sure it's the same 3 wire though)

Yeah am pretty sure its the same cheers

Its gotta be worth a try.

Hi Craig. If it fits I'll go for one definately, but I am tempted with the cheaper alternatives cos as said before if it lasts a year thats no great loss. I just need to get at mine to see which type I need. I was hoping someone could tell me before so I could order it then fit it straight away.
