Either their site is down or they have DNS problems - can't even resolve the name to an IP address.

So I don't think it is you http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Sorry to all. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Lee Christie (Simply Web design) has physically moved the server which Scooby Mania is hosted on.

DNS needs to be altered to point to the new address and it takes time to propogate.

Probably said that wrong but you get the idea.
Consequently we are currently not receiving mail (since 5/10/00). If you have sent mail, please bear that in mind, it's sat somewhere waiting to be delivered ?

Faster than normal service will be resumed imminently.

Regards

Mike.

Hi all, a bit of a similar post to what I put on the sidc site..

I had a hardware problem and although the machine would have ticked along it may have caused unwanted thrashing on the disks.
If the DNS had been updated I would have cancelled appointments and gone in friday to swap the submirror disk, but as it hasnt I decided to power the machine off. No point having a server running if things aren't pointing to it ! DNS will be done by monday hence i'm popping in and will sort.

Any emails should be stored by your outgoing mail server for x amount of time, then returned. You'll probably get warnings about undeliverable mail in the meantime.

Will be back up on Monday as fast as lightning http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
