fuel efficiency

I was looking into leasing an '06 impreza 2.5i, but fuel prices have kind of made me somewhat hesitant. I was wondering if maybe putting a cold air intake on it will make a noticeable difference in fuel efficiency. Has anyone who has done that noticed improvement in that area? Thanks.

Im confused as to why you think that might help..!

Well, I thought that since a clogged air filter reduces fuel efficiency, then increased air flow will improve fuel efficiency. I know that sounds kind of silly. I gues that's like thinking I'll poop out of my mouth when I put food up my arse because I poop out of my arse when I put food in my mouth. But, thanks for looking.

find out if ecutek can reflash that ecu and then get a tuner to flash for economy and not power !

make the target AFR as lean as possible to reduce consumption and make the parameter for closed / open loop higher than the current 60% threshhold, that should all help tremendously
