Best Security On the Market

I have an MY03 WRX with the OEM security alarm and a Tracker! Im getting to the stage where i am spending nearly as much on the car as i paid for it and would never get this recouperated from a loss adjuster should the inevitable happen!

I am therefore looking for some good advice on upgrading the tracking device and an enhanced security system. Ive been told of these units that cut out half way down the road etc should a theif decide to try his luck with my keys? Basically im open to any best security option not for too silly money!

Thanks

Beware of the legislation regarding such "after-theft" devices that immobilise vehicles after the vehicle has been taken - bit of a nightmare area legally in the UK due to "Construction and Use" and "Road Traffic" regs.
Ensure any product you consider for fitment to your vehicle is "E" marked showing that it has been tested and approved for electrical compatibility (95/54 EC) for use in an automotive environment.
Most of these products aren't approved for European fitment (no E mark), were never intended for the UK market and were not officially imported (hence the mention on foreign web pages).
Fitment of electrical devices that do not conform to 95/54 EC could cause other "claim situations" in the event of electrical fires etc.
Tread carefully.
