how far can I go?
 

I have 97 turbo with td 04 211hp.
What is the limit for td 04 to open with manual boost controler?
and do i need to change fuel pump or something else.

i dont wont big bhp just wont better then 211hp:)

1.1 bar and the max the td04 will produce is 280bhp

around 260bhp is my goal, becouse I just bought it and dont have money for serious mods.

now is ok but befor impreza I had legacy 92 with 260bhp.

I like the response now , but it all ends about 5000rpm, would it be better if i boost it up??

i would be very carefull raising the boost above standard via a boost controller because you are not altering timing or fuel to suit, if you do you will run lean and most likey melt a piston! save your pennies mate and get a apexi pfc mapped by andyf,full decat,walbro fuel pump and a good air filter, that way you will have plenty more bhp and torque and most of all it will be reliable!!!!:luxhello:

It's 99% safe to fit a decat exhaust on it's own, that will help release a few more hp........ i had my car decatted for three years with extreme use before i changed the turbo and got a tek 3 remap...... changing the exhaust to most is the first step towards horsepower gain, not uping the boost.....

i have full de-cat exhaust with supersprint back box just need to put it on.And a k&n filter in std box.
so first thing put on the exhaust....
