Prodrive 3 port solenoid
 

Would it work with PowerFC on a MY98 car. I'm having some troubles controlling the boost(cannot charge over 1.1bar) with the 2-port factory solenoid so I want to get one to cope with it.

I have an MY98 WRX with Power FC mapped by Andy. It has a 3 port solenoid fitted and it boosts to 1.3 bar, but I believe scoobyclinic upgraded this from a 2 port when I was having boost problems prior to PFC being fitted. Any help?

Yes, probably because I have nothing left to check. Do you able to boost above 1.3 now if you want to?

I can go as high as I want really, but never had it more than 1.4 as a test. No fuel cut or problems.

I had my FC mapped recently with the original solenoid, reducing the duty allowed me to get close to 1.3 > 1.4 Bar
Car was mapped by Simon AKA Jolly Green Giant.

Andy advised me to upgrade to the 3 port when going to a 20g on my STI5. Ended up buying one but never fitted it as I got a AVCR instead.
