94 Sti version 1 (JAP)

:) Hi guys, after have the bodywork, full decat blitz nur spec r and brakes sorted i want to start thinking about power upgrades, was wondering how much more power i might expect on the standard engine and is it worth changing any bits on the engine to gain even more.

Many Thanks in advance :)

All depends on how much power you.

You could do a decat, green cotten filter, and a manual boost adjuster this could proberly give 20-30 bhp more

Some people might say to change the ecu apexi fc e.t.c, but this also depends how much money you have.

Hi, well had considered the apexi, but will my standard internals take more power and do i need to change injectors.

I am also looking for a lot of popping and banging, poss anti lag ?:wonder:

A decat can normally help with the lag as this help it spool up quicker.:)

Your turbo and internals should be good for around the 350bhp mark, if you do go down the apexi route then upgrading your fuel pump may be a good idea, but the stock pump and injectors should still be able to cope;)

Can u recomend a good supplyer and mapper for the apexi ?

There are a few members on here like andyf in scotland or jolly green monster, if you do a search on the forum i'm sure you will find one.

Your injectors are only 380cc, they will be maxed out at around the 300bhp mark. If you want more than this then I think you'll have to upgrade the injectors to 440cc from the V3 onwards or buy some 550cc ones.
