fitting in porgress.........

Just finished fitting, took 3 hours with a few brew's and tabs inbetween. The mic is near the drivers side alarm sensor, the control button is next to the hand brake, the speaker is in the passanger footwell and the control box fits nicely behind the heater. taken for a teat drive and sound really good, cut the tunes when you make or recive a call, and the sound is really good. Alot better than having one of those ear things in and no batties to worry about, just get in start the motor and the kit connects its self to the phone. kit fitted was the nokia ck-7w tops bit of kit.

CK-7W installation

Hi

Thinking of fitting one of these kits myself to my 02 STi. Is it a DIY job? I know you fitted yours but you could be an auto-electrician so I thought I should ask. Are there any special connectors required that don't come with the CK-7W kit ie connector for audio mute? What year car did you fit it in? How much trim did you have to remove for cable routing............ ? The more info you can pass on the easier it'll be for me I hope :wonder:

I've ordered a phone holder (ebay) and bracket (dashmount) and plan to get the kit next week.

Cheers

Mike :D
