Which of the northern lads are heading south on Saturday morning?

If you are heading down from the North Leeds, Skipton area....fancy meeting up somewhere...??

If so please respond and email me via tom@schofieldinsurance.co.uk

Cheers

Tom

I should be going down with Dales from the Burnley area. I will ring him and find out which way we are going. Probably do M62, Irlam, Northwich route.

Will get back to you.

Rum* 25 January 2001 04:13 PM

Dream Weaver,

If you are going M62....where abouts would you join it? If Bradford (M606) I could meet you at the top...i.e. The hotel carpark just off the roundabout at the top of the M606....or at the 1st services on the M62....just 1 mile from M606 junction....if further down we could arrange a place...

Call me on 0498 762285 to discuss...

Cheers M8

Tom, if your bringing your better half on sat, come see me asap. I haven't managed to take her for a run yet and you always seem to disapear when i am free.

I think its twice you've missed out now so lets get this sorted. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

buddy 25 January 2001 10:44 PM

Rum,
Burnley route will take the M65 M6.So probably better to meet ont the M6.
P.S saw your car at donno did you leave around lunchtime cos i didnt see it after that.

Dream Weaver 25 January 2001 11:29 PM

Buddy - It is quicker to do the M66, M60, M62, then down through Irlam. Decent route as well.

Tom - we would join near to Manchester, on the junction crossing the M60. Only other option is for you to come over the tops towards Skipton/Barnoldswick and meet us near to Burnley, either way. I am not driving so cant promise much at this juncture.

PS Tom, Are you on track??

Rum* 25 January 2001 11:53 PM

John,

Alas me and the long term g'friend had just split up at the Nov Donno meet *sigh*....since then I have been trying to practice as much as possible....hence another leggy creature the other week at Donno....Saturday...the latest was meant to be coming down with me, *sigh* but now she has to work *yea ha*....so I might be playing again *G*

Buddy...yup it was my P1...and yup...left at lunchtime...*LOL*...under the thumb...the other half needed retail therapy *L*...

Probably best to meet at bottom of M60...drop me a line tomorrow with a contact number and I'll give you a shout...

tom@schofieldinsurance.co.uk

or call 0498 762285

Dream Weaver...as above - M60 is good....wheres the best place to meet....can you give me a shout in the morning ???*S*

Cheers all

Tom

We will ring you in the morning if everything is sorted. What time are you setting off?

Simon

Rum* 26 January 2001 01:44 PM

DW,

Ring me in the morning!!....are you planning a lie in or something??? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif...I thought this was going to be an early start *LMAO*...

I thought I was going to be getting up at 05.30/06.00 to get down for the driver briefing??...

Drop me a line later...I will check when I get in from the Pub...

If we don't catch up I'll see you at the track...*S*

Dales 26 January 2001 02:21 PM

Tom

Myself and DW are new to this track day thing and are going as spectators to get a feel for what goes on (and hopefully blag a few passenger rides...hint hint)

I guess we don't really need to get there in time for the driver briefing. Whats the best time to get there for when the "action" starts?

See you there

Dales

Rum* 26 January 2001 02:22 PM

errrrrr.....what time does it start tomorrow?? Is it the usual 08.30 driver briefing???

Rum* 26 January 2001 02:27 PM

I thin k the action starts at 09.00???...the earlier you get their...possibly the more likely to get a ride...i.e. before everyone else turns up http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I will see you at the track..

I am bringing John down from the office - you can't miss him...tall and lanky...and the the one in the Subaru jacket...with a severe lack of hair!!! : http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif...come and introduce yourselves ..

We've already met you Tom but will be pleased to come and make your acquaintance again http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

We were speaking to you at the beginning of the Dales Run at the KFC, and you were telling us of your unfortunate incident with the tree.

Look forward to chatting again tomorrow, off to the pub now.

Simon
