VAG-COM diagnostics

Has anyone used this - if so, what do you think?

I need one for a Seat Alhambra

It's good but really only use for setting options ie alarm/cl options, xenons etc and reading/clearing error codes in the version I used to use. Didn't find it that handy for fault finding but then again I never had any faults!

Has anybody used the cables off of ebay for vag-com diagnostics? Plenty of cables about for about £12 including postage but don't want to just throw the money away if they are a waste of time/rip off?

Got mine from their and it works fine

Bob, I've got a cable that I used for my MK4 Golf TDi. I paid for the VAG COM software too, but don't have the Golf any more.
