I'll be gentle with you but only if I can have a ride!

F

PaulFisher 12 January 2001 02:19 PM

Anybody who wants a ride - Just Jump In!

As long as you're not too sarcastic about my shoddy track driving technique!

don't forget - I've only done 68 track miles in this M5, whereas all you bunch probably 68k miles!

I know I can't do the M5 justice, I can just about keep up with a standard WRX - just!

I'm going to try be very mature, concentrating on line and smoothness, so na-na-na-na-na if you pass me.

Paul.

Give me a shot Paul - I used to drive one like an absolute loon for 2 years and got pretty handy in it. Now I drive a cossie with terrible balance, smaller tyres and more power I think I could only be better in the M5 now. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
I do remember once looking for the sport button like you have in auto beemers! - Oops , trying a bit too much! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Is it a 6 speeder or 5?

Martin
Ps - very jealous! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

///M'ster iuse to have a M3 untill i changed it for my Sti, I'v only been to 1 track day and will be going on the 27th really cheeky http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif i know but any chance of being a passanger (never been in a M5) I don't know many people (hopfully this will change in time). http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/tongue.gif
Anyone else offering a passanger ride would make my day. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif I'm the one in the Sti555 dark blue pro-drive sticker on front spoiler N***BNN.

PaulFisher 15 January 2001 04:29 PM

Yep no probs for a passenger ride - I prefer having a passenger anyway... more of a laugh.

I'll be bringing a friend or two, but you can come in after them! I'll try to keep an eye out for your cars... whomever wants a jolly in the M'ster, keep an eye out for the M5 also! (I'll be the fat bloke with the silly grin)

Sorry 'Stage 1', its a 6 speed with the full 'dogs B*ll*x' Nuremberg adaptive suspension (For the true pie-lover's amongst us), 345mm brake disks, phat 245/40 18" alloys with bridgstone pole position s02's on. Pitty about the tosser dirving it!
