You're only modding options for the next 3 years will be PPP, assuming you want to retain your warranty. (Again assuming it's a UK car with a 3 year warranty).

If you aren't concerned about the warranty, try:
  • Replace OE panel filter for HKS/GREEN or similar
  • Fit decat centre pipe and performance backbox
  • Have ecutek remap
This will give you about 265bhp and ~ 260 Lb/ft torque and will cost about £900 all in.

After that you could go for:
  • Fit decat uppipe and downpipe
  • Have the map redone
This should add another 10-20bhp plus more torque and will cost about £500 all in, (can't give exact figures on this bit because I haven't had it done yet ;) )

For styling, change the ironing board rear spoiler if you have one fitted as standard. Get rid of the stereo HU (unless they're significantly better in the latest models?).

Get rid of the standard 17" wheels and get 18's fitted and then get Eibach springs fitted which will firm up the ride slightly (but not too much) and will lower it by about 20mm.

How's that for starters? :norty:

Agreed, like to hear why your chopping the Type R !

Well I know they are ok but for £17,500 and your only getting 200bhp I can see the transfer to the scoob....

Just curious.......

The ctr is a cracking car, firstly in the winter its hard putting the power on the road, just imagine a go kart on a wet track. But the main reason is i want a car with 4 doors and 5 seats. The ctr is only a 4 seater car !!!!!
