Stef,
You're not on their list anymore, have you pulled out? I'm now paid up and confirmed http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif. Cheers Simon |
I'm provisionally booked in.
I noticed Stef had 'gone' too. I was banking on him to show me exactly where to brake, turn in and more importantly where the burger bar is !! Neil. |
Ooops, back on now. Perhaps I should actually send the money now! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif
I would advise anyone not to rely on me for advice on braking points and the like. If you attempt to use my braking points you will undoubtedly end up in the grass (unless you've also got AP's of course http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif ), and I will probably spend most of the day going sideways anyway! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Anyhow, see you all there. Stef. |
Stef, you had better be going as most of us want to see your "cossie killer" and talk to you about your mods.

For those going on Wednesday, has anyone got some octane booster they can sell me? Millers seems the popular choice, but I've left it a bit late and would be pleased with anything.
Thanks |
Some pix of this are at:

Great pics ! Glad you didn't catch my big sideways 'moment' at that corner....hehe.
Really enjoyed the day, looking forward to the next one already. Nice to put faces to names too ! Neil (pic no. 30). |
Excellent pics, some great shots of that awesome Focus that blew everything away http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif got anymore?
Harj.... |

Excellent piccies Simon, cheers.
What a fantastic day - everyone seemed to get out of each others way, except for the white cossie (pic 33), who didn't get out of the way for about 5 laps, despite my flashing the whole way round (easytrack forgot blue flags, which is not a good idea). Neil - I didn't realise you were subverbal! Nice to meet you (I'm Mike by the way). Thanks to Stef and Richards who took me round in a sideways fashion - I managed to get more out of my scoob after that, and just can't wait to get back and try a few more things. For anyone thinking of the power station bump steer removal, I still found the car very forgiving, and still not enough response on turn in (but better than it was). Mike (pic 23 and 32) |
Hey Mike, I didn't realise *you* were Triggaar ! Bloody code names ! Hope it wasn't you who pushed our Cossie mate into a spin ??!!
Thanx also to Andy for helping my tyres to last a few extra miles. Anyone do any 'unofficial' lap timing. I got one of the Evos at 50 secs. My passenger/brother clocked me at around 52 secs but kept forgetting to look at the watch with excitement, so therefore not very accurate ! Neil. |
Any times would have course of been taken from video footage recorded on the day. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Ahah !
