Radio controlled helicopter question
I am getting my first radio controlled helicopter for christmas - It is a JABO II 4 channel. Any helicopter pilots in!!!!
Just wondering how hard it is to change the control from mode 1 to mode 2 control (i.e. the throttle is on the wrong stick). Is it just a case of unsoldering/soldering a few wires from the different pots? Cheers |
Hiya,
I've got a helicopter Tx that I don't use - want to swap? It's a Sanwa 6 (7?) channel, about 2 years old with 0 hours... SB |

i changed mine from 1 to 2 by myself mate, just undo the screws and swap the wires and springs over... easy!
Ive got a JABO II aswell! ncie little heli to learn on! altho you'll need to stick indoors for a fair while cos you need to be good to tackle wind as it isnt the most stable!! you'll also need to purchase a rather extensive spares kit too!! |

I have been practising on a free flight simulator which I downloaded off the net, however I really want to plug the control in and use this as controlling it with the keys is DIFFICULT (due to it being on or off if you know what I mean). Will def be practising indoors before venturing out into the wind. What kind of spares do you constanly need then? It comes with a spare set of rotors. |
why dont you plug the controller in then and practice with that !
you'll need all kinds of bits, rotor head, the links to them , rear tail motors, basically all the stuff that breaks every time you crash it... and you will crash it |
a decent controller should be switchable between modes 1 and 2 ??
You'll need more than just rotors, trust me :lol1: :( http://www.ashlyn.plus.com/misc/heli%20crash.jpg |
