Just wondering what the difference is between the race spec ones and the standard ones?

About 2kg I would think judging by the weight of the gold ones I took off to fit AP's.

Rigidity (one piece), pad size, overall weight, type of seals, number of pistons/ventilation in pistons, materials etc!
Is that enough for you? :)
