Anybody else seen the EGG CARD advert with Guinea pigs?
Quite funny, especially one particular scene......
;) |
LOL yeah saw that last night, one of the best adverts on telly. Particually liked the scene with the chavvy guinea pig and his car ;) :p
|
What on earth possessed them to put a chav, a baseball bat, loads of cheap gold jewellery, a skanky girlfriend, a vicious dog and a blue new-age scoob with gold wheels in the same scene???

Bang on the money!!! |
Some of, if not the best, adverts on telly at the moment. Very good marketing! :)

Can this be moved to general?
Dave ;) |
MODS - please move this to General.

...not really getting the audience it deserves in here ;)

You've seen it then?? :D Surprised it took this long for anyone to notice!!! The look on the professors face, when he "drops" the baseball bat to the chav Guinea pig and his 'ASBO' girlfriend - its one of fear and concern. They must have used their EGG card to buy the scooby along with the baseball bat, naff jewellery and trainers. I *think* the 'ASBO' girlfriend is pregnant - will confirm next time I see the advert. |

council estate mentallity like yours and your 2 bob mates on this thread tell most scooby owners and anybody who can afford a decent motor what twats you lot are !!! :D There are a hell of a lot of GTi-6 owners that are chavs. The difference between I, and some others on this site is that we don't own a GTi-6 to look cool, to cruise, to tart up or to polish. We use the Pug to do what it does best - that being hammering the bolllox off it on track. Both cars are owned by chavs - unfortunately, more so own scoobs.....and even more so buy them in some delluded attempt to look good, respected and liked. A common misconception of many of this sort of "person". HTH. |

Looks like a curry house delivery car Darryl. ;)
|
I 'hear' that on the launch of the new card, they had 6 foot guinea pigs wandering round the call centre....
I don't think you should read into the ad too much, the main point of the ad is that it's a new product that no-one else has done before - the rest is just very funny and clever advertising...... Altho the amount of people who were telling me that there was a scooby in the ad was unreal when it first aired... |
