Hi,

Having been on the Midlands meet this weekend I was just interested if anyone had any suggestions or ideas on the above.

I was thinking along the lines of:

1) Altittude specific tyre pressure kit - this inflates to say 100psi in mid flight to allow for hard impacts on landing - deflating after touch down

2) Air balance sensors - to redistribute weight mid launch - making the back end heavier to reduce front end impact.

3) Launch controlled air bags - reduced sensativity to prevent impact detonation after particularly mingin lift off

4) Turbo Boost thrusters - connected to the exhaust piping, used to direct air current to "steer" the car in mid air. These could be adapted to include a "harrier jumpjet" type arrangement to reduce chassis stress on returning to terra ferma.

5) Windscreen "lift off proof" glass

6) GPS Sat nav to warn of incoming Hump-Back bridges - including visual and sonic warning

7) Aero dynamic mudflaps that keep the car in a straight line

8) Modified rear "Wing" to increase hangtime

9) Modified turbo timer to calculate Length, Height, Air time and impact pressure - producing a quotient we could post that would mean something (like - i did a 24.7 last week, beating my best of a 24.3). We could then start competitions!!!

Just some suggestions - any one else got any ideas. Do you think Prodrive would be interested in releasing a kit in time for the next Midlands meet?

Just get a GrpN or GrpA or WRC car and you'll be sorted! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
