Ever Wondered how thieves know what car you have ?
Have you every wondered how the car thieves know that you have a decent car even though it is hidden in a garage ?
The DVLA are selling our name and addresses to known criminals !!! I am so pissed off with this pathetic greedy goverment http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...a_source=&ct=5 |
Precisely the reason why I refused to tell them the location of my Integrale when I had it off the road (didn't tell them it was SORN because I didn't want them to know where it was stored) and as you'd expect I got fined for the pleasure  They're a bunch of useless tossers.

that report is shocking...
this quote is quite on the ball too... Civil rights organisation Liberty accused the DVLA of breaching the European Convention on Human Rights, which upholds a person's right to a private life. Director Shami Chakrabarti said: "That the DVLA is making a profit from our private details while the Government is giving reassurances about identity cards is extremely troubling." Mick :D |
good job I keep my vehicles stored at a place not known to the dvla
|
Bloody great

They need to know your numberplate first though.
|
You say they need to know your number plate… you need to use your car…
|
They've been doing this for years ..... it's just it's only now getting reported. I always though it was £50 though .... not £ 2.50 !
