Virus warning ?
Received an Email just now from McAfee titled, 'VIRUS ADVISORY: W32/SOBER@MM!M681' .
I have not opened the Email, you never know whether it is from who you think it is, but thought it best to let you know, just in case it IS a virus. Nate. |

John,
Serious question, can you get a virus just by opening an e-mail? Or do you have to attempt to down load attachments? Ta :) |

Ta :) always remember to delet your offline content, and temp internet folders. viruses can be sent to a computer through pics on a website....... ALLWAYS SCAN FOR VIRUSES AND SPYWARE IF YOU GO TO A WEBSITE THAT YOU HAVE NEVER USED AND MAY BE POTENTIALLY HARMFULL.. NEVER OPEN AN EMAIL THAT YOU DONT KNOW WHO IT IS FROM...EVEN IF THE EMAIL HAS NO TEXT OR ATTACHMENTS. THESE ARE PROBABLY HAVE TROJANS IN THEM AND WHEN YOU OPEN IT, IT WILL ALERT THE SENDER THAT YOUR ONLINE AND THEY CAN EITHER ATTACK OR KILL YOUR COMPUTER. |
