Will this bring up the same codes as the dealer equipment?? Got mine booked in for a ' sensor check ' next week but the dealer charges nearly the same as this package costs. Im not getting any CELs so will they still pick up the problem?

Anyone used this before?

what car have you got, you do realise this software is only for my01 onwards :(
Hopefully I'll be getting this in the near future, to go in my new my03 sti, when I've got my carpc install transferred over :)
I was also under the impression that you can do your own sensor check by watching the dash lights and fiddling with the ecu wires! Get yourself over to 22b.com, or the sidc site, or as a last resort a search on general technical might help on here.

i quite like the look of that software...

but is it actually useful, and does it tell you anything useful?

I think the full pc version is the best one to get:

Real-time digital gauges on your laptop screen! Displays RPM, Fuel Pressure, Mass Air Flow Rate, MPH, Coolant, Intake Manifold and Air Temperature.

From data based on your car's weight, wheel and tyre size, this screen displays a BHP and Torque graph in realtime.

This screen is used for measuring the performance times of your car, including 0-60, 1/8 mile, ¼ mile and top MPH. All times are automatically logged as the car reaches the required speed or distance.

Built for the auto technician, this screen allows you select 4 parameters such as RPM, MAF, Air Intake and Fuel pressure and display them on a quad graph page, in realtime. Essential for fault diagnosis.

A page displaying all of the values reported by your car's ECU. Again, built especially for the auto technician.

Read Engine Fault codes and turn off Check Engine Light

Read all error codes reported by the ECU and switch off the CEL / MIL (check engine light/multi indicator lamp)

Sounds quite useful to me :)
