romantic weekend anyone...???

calling all romantics with more money than sense...!!!

i had a room booked at fawsley hall in northamptonshire on 20-22 jan 06 but looks like theres the possibility i might not be able to make it now

the deposit of 150 quid is already paid, leaving a balance of 589.50...
:eek2:
i know this is alot but its a fantastic place, and if anybody thinks they might be interested, im willing to relinquish the booking minus the deposit...

no promises as im just testing the water at the moment, check it out www.fawsleyhall.com

perfect place to take the missus; roaring fires, four poster beds, etc...:norty:

any possible takers...???

thanks in advance, bri...

£700+ for 2 nights for 2 people

Makes my 3 night stay in a Bournemouth Hotel over the Xmas break for £30 THE ROOM - for ALL 3 nights - seem positively cheap :D :D

Mind you, breakfast and dinner isnt included ................ but I can sort that for £15 a night each :D :D

And I'll buy a fooookin 4 poster bed when I get home with the money I've saved :D :D

Everyones a winner!! :D

I personally would rather have a remap, that is a bloody expensive 2 nights away! :eek2:

Chip Sengravy 19 November 2005 01:31 PM

£590

What do you get for that kind of money?.....a Goblin Teasmaid?

Scoob99 19 November 2005 05:54 PM

You should be able to get your money back, my wife is in the hotel buissness and she says, if you give48 hours notice normally you should be able to get your money back, but not sure about the deposit, my wife's friend also works there.
Cheers
Colin

And the reason that it is a drop in the ocean is because I do not waste my money :D

£30 for a room for 3 nights is absolutely the kind of deal I will do ......

I mean, a Top Class Hooker is cheaper  and thats for the whole night!!

£740 for 2 for 2 nights??

Could I ask what mental processes you went through to agree to something like that??

I mean, thats a new knee to someone like me!! :D

You should have taken a £100 deal and given £640 to Children in Need - then you would have been my hero ..............
